Group Supervision
Beginning January 2005, Dr. Kalina will be offering ongoing group supervision for professionals who want to enhance their skills managing couples and families, as well as for those professionals needing hours for credtentialing including social workers, marriage and family therapists, and mental health counselors. Intensive Training Program in Process-Guided Couple Therapy
Building on the concepts learned in Process-Guided Couple Therapy: The Art and Magic of "How" (An Introduction), become more adept working with marital and other intimate systems.
During the intensive training program you learn in depth:
- how to work with process-guided couple therapy
- further refine your focus away from content and to process
- Love's Crossroads®
- the interactive cycle
- tools to handle client resistance
- artful interventions
- the use of countertransference as a therapeutic tool
Training is theory-based, hands-on, and involves personal work within the group setting. A supervisory hour is scheduled for each meeting in which participants can discuss examples of their work.
Fee:
$1500 for 80 hours of training
Individual and Group Supervision
Individual and group supervision hours with Dr. Kalina may be used for AAMFT clinical certification, N.Y. State marriage and family therapy certification, N.Y. State counseling certification, and RCSW seven-year certification.
